REGISTRATION WILL OPEN JUNE 15th FOR THE 2024-25 FALL / WINTER SEASON.

7U & 9U (formerly Mites) - If your child was born in 2016-2019 she belongs in this category.  The 7U & 9U program is a mixed (boy/girl) category.  Players in this Age Category will participate in sessions where skill development is the key and most importantly fun for the kids.  This program runs for 18 weeks.  The kids receive a jersey and ball that they get to keep at the end of the season.   There is also a tournament run by EYBA at the end of the season.  The 7U & 9U program is held on Saturday mornings for 1 hour, starting at 9 am for 7U's, 10 am or 11 am for 9U's at the Westboro Elementary School in Sherwood Park.

11U (formerly Mini) - If your child was born in 2014 or 2015, he/she belongs in this category.  The 11U's usually play on Saturdays with the occasional Friday evening game.  Please note there might be weeks where teams play two games, and there might be bye weeks where no games are played.  Your team may also play on the occasional Sunday.

They will also practice once a week in a gym in south east Edmonton on a weeknight. 11U's are a gender specific category, meaning that boys and girls play on separate teams.

All players must attend evaluation camps held prior to the start of the season to assist in forming teams.  To help with seeding, there will be a seeding tournament before the season starts for A and B division teams.  Once the season begins, the 13U Boys A/B teams will play on Tuesdays, while the 13U Girls A/B teams will play on Wednesdays. There will also be occasional Thursday evening games for girls and boys teams.

18U Boys players are ineligible to play on both a community team and their high school's senior team at the same time, so the season is split in two: before and after Christmas.  When you register, you'll be asked to pay for the full season.  If you make your high school's senior team, please email ed@southeastbasketball.com to let us know and we'll refund $150 of the registration fee to the credit card used at registration.  The deadline to get the refund is December 15, 2024.

18U Girls players are also ineligible to play on both a community team and their high school senior team at the same time, so their season only runs for the Fall and ends before Christmas (half the season).
