NEWSLETTER-2005 Notice: Annual General Meeting November 27, 2005 at 7:00 pm. Location to be announced. All coaches MUST attend. It’s official! Southeast Basketball Association is now a registered Society. At the first executive meeting held on September 25/05 several items were discussed and passed. The executive for the next two years will be as follows: President Paul Semchuk Vice President Wayne Anderson Secretary Teresa Schrettlinger Treasurer Pat Der The name and logo for the S.E. Basketball will be the Southeast Swarm. “Swarm” is descriptive of the game of basketball on many levels. Players can swarm the ball, swarm the net for rebounds and swarm on defense. The colors of the logo represent the colors of a bee. Bees are hard workers, relentless at their job, and work as a team to ensure the success of the hive. The success of the teams of the Southeast Basketball Association will also rely on their players’ hard work and team play. |
