THANK YOU!! for coming out and enjoying the food, weather and company with us yesterday! It was a great night and a BIG thank you goes out to Tracy Bunda and her family for all their work organizing the BBQ this year for us. Thank you also to all the parents, coaches and players that came out and supported the event!!!
We are excited about the upcoming season, the lauch of the Steve Nash Program with our Mites and Mini and the summer camp at King's College - August 12-16th,2013. Stay posted here for more details to come with regards to our summer camp and the Skills Development Sessions in the fall.

South East Basketball Registration/Volunteering Process

 

Parents when registering your child with SEBA you must complete and submit the following items:

1. Complete a 2013/14 SEBA Registration Form

2. Sign up for 1 volunteer position per child registered in the program.

3. Pay all registration fees with cash or a cheque payable to SEBA.

4. Provide an undated volunteer/uniform deposit cheque of $150.00. The cheque will be cashed in March or April of 2014 if you do not return your child's jersey, complete your volunteer assignment and return your completed “ticket” to Nat Hoy via mail at 7539-77 Ave, Edm., AB. T6C 0K6 by March 24, 2014.

You can register your child for the SEBA Basketball Program by:

1. Attending one of our Registration Dates listed below;

            a. Saturday, June 1st @ Avonmore Hall, 7902-73 Ave from 4:00pm to 7:00pm

            b. Thursday, July 11th @ Avonmore Hall, 7902-73 Ave from 6:00pm to 9:00pm

            c. Wednesday, Aug. 28th @ Avonmore Hall, 7902-73 Ave from 6:00pm to 9:00pm

            d. Registrations received after September 1st must included a $50 late reg. fee.

            e. By Mail, deadline is Sept 1, 2013, please download a registration form off our 

website at www.southeastbasketball.com , fill it out, ensuring to identify volunteer position, attach cheques and mail to SEBA, c/o Nat Hoy 7539-77 Ave, Edmonton, AB., T6C 0K6

2. Volunteering is mandatory because we are a volunteer organization! There are lots of options such as; Board Executive (our Treasurer will be stepping down in 2014 and we would like to train someone this year to take over the position), Age Directors, Volunteer Coordinator, Casino Chairperson, Coaching Staff, Team Manager, Equipment and Apparel, score keeping, time keeping, gym patrol, registration assistants, casino and bingo volunteers.

You will be given a volunteer “ticket” that YOU will be responsible for, to get signed off by designate listed on the “ticket” and then returned to SEBA c/o Nat Hoy once your volunteer position is complete. If you DO NOT return your “ticket” to SEBA by March 24, 2014 your volunteer deposit cheque WILL be cashed.  PLAYER CARDS FOR THE SAVILLE CENTER
All players must register online to receive a player card at www.edmontonyouthbasketball.com and click on the Saville Community Sports Center Registration tab, then click on the red registration tab and enter all your data.
 
 REGISTRATION POLICY
 
 Players can register for Southeast Basketball directly if they fall in one of the following categories: (please note the zone boundaries will be included in the message (south of the river and east of Calgary trail).

 1. They live in the SE Zone

2. They attend a school in the SE Zone (regardless of the zone in which they live)

3. They have played 1 or more years (including last year) for the SE Zone, however live in another zone.

 EXCEPTION: Any out of zone mite players that played for SE Zone last year MUST register with their home zone this year

 Players can register to attend the SE A Tryouts directly if they fall in one of the following categories:

 1. They live in the SE Zone

2. They attend a school in the SE Zone (regardless of the zone in which they live)

3. They played on a SE A Team last year, however live in another zone.

 NOTE: For the A teams, this year the SE Zone will follow a philosophy of giving players from the SE Zone priority over players from other zones during the selection process
